The Insider’s guide to Thanos Hotels

Thanos Hotel Annabelle is situated in the middle of tropical gardens but still manages to be right in the heart of the city centre of Paphos. The hotel has wonderful surroundings of palm trees, tropical flowers and views of the seafront which is just a few yards away from the hotel. All of the rooms here are spacious with elegant marble features and all of the amenities you would expect from a hotel of this standard including a minibar, satellite TV and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. As the hotel is within a short distance of four spectacular golf courses – Aphrodite Hills, Elea Golf Club, Minthis Hills and Secret Valley – you will never be struggling to find a good round of golf! You can also enjoy a range of different activities in the area as the hotel is in the centre of the city including water sports and cultural tours. For relaxation the resort boasts a fantastic pool with swim-in caves and waterfalls around it where you can relax by and of course, the hotel is just a short walk to the beach. Although this hotel doesn’t have a spa, the sister hotel next door has a well-fitted spa which guests can use. The hotel features four different restaurants including its buffet-style restaurant as well as those which serve a variety of different cuisine and there are also five different bars for you to explore and enjoy a few drinks in with some of them providing live entertainment each evening. Of course, being in the city centre gives you plenty of options regarding food and drink as there are copious amounts of different restaurants and bars serving every cuisine and drink that you could ever possibly want. This is a superb hotel with some of the best amenities possible and with service of the highest class all in the centre of a bustling and beautiful city – what is there not to like about this hotel?

Hotel Annabelle’s sister hotel – Hotel Almyra –  is right next door so shares the same superb location right in the heart of the city of Paphos. All of the rooms here are spacious and decorated with a modern and contemporary design, they all feature either a balcony or a terrace that has garden or sea views for you to enjoy here. Just like its sister hotel, the rooms are fitted with all of the amenities you would expect from a five-star hotel like this. The hotel boasts four large freshwater pools for you to enjoy and has the beach right on its doorstep which means that you will never be short of somewhere stunning to relax and enjoy the grounds of the hotel. Two of the pools are adults-only which means that you can relax somewhere quiet without children or if you have your children there are pools where they can swim away from those who want the peace and quiet! Guests who stay here often play the same four golf courses that those who stay at the Annabelle Hotel play as they are fantastic courses which are close to the hotels. Unlike its sister hotel, Hotel Almyra feature a spa and wellness centre with a wide range of holistic treatments, a gym and a sauna. Most guess that stay in these hotels enjoy a half-board package and the Amyra’s main buffet restaurant serves a full continental breakfast and their other restaurants serve a variety of different cuisine from traditional Cypriot dishes to different international cuisine. Due to the hotel’s location you will never be restricted on where you can eat and drink as there are numerous great little restaurants and bars in Paphos for you to enjoy if you want to leave the hotel and explore. This hotel is ideal for your next relaxing golf break in the sun and a stay here could never be anything but relaxing and enjoyable.

Paphos is a fantastic coast side city with a great climate both for enjoying the beaches in summer and staying out late enjoying the nightlife in the warm but also for exploring and playing golf especially in the Autumn where temperatures average at around 20C. Holidays here are also easily accessible from England as Paphos airport is just under 20km from the city centre. There is plenty to do here in Paphos from enjoying water sports on the beach to exploring the churches and history deep in the city. There are many small coastal towns for you to enjoy and some of which are within walking distance from Paphos. For those of you looking for a lively holiday then there is the strip which has many different bars and clubs on that are open until all hours of the morning and staying in the heart of Paphos means that they are easily accessible from one of the Thanos hotels. This is a fantastic city with so much culture, nightlife and history that everyone can enjoy and appreciate and a stay here in one of these fantastic hotels should never be missed out on.

With four very different golf courses nearby each with their own level of difficulty and individual layouts as well as a beautiful sandy beach and a bustling town full of culture and atmospheric bars and restaurants we cannot recommend the Thanos hotels enough.
