Spain currently has a total of 398 golf courses so far. Among this array of grounds, there are certain favourites shown in our client feedback.

Valderrama

Spain’s number 1 golf course, Valderrama, was home to the Volvo Masters (1988-96), the Ryder Cup (1997), and the World Golf Championships (1999-2002). This is an oasis of calm on the often frenetic coast set amongst cork trees. This astounding course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, with a small hand from Seve.

PGA Catalunya – Stadium

Catalunya Stadium, with immaculately kept greens, an astounding reputation, and a stern test of golf, has established itself as one of Spain’s top 5 golf courses. It does have to be said that this golf course is not for the faint-hearted, with a very long and hilly landscape.

Real Sotogrande

Sotogrande, located at the western end of the Costa del Sol, is host to a selection of high-end amenities. Including a world-class marina, an array of plush bars and restaurants, and spectacular golf courses. We had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday, the resort, hotel and golf courses were fabulous (as was the weather). A great location which suited us all, the hotel was clean and the staff most welcoming and helpful. The food is great and lots of choices and as much as you like. The golf courses were challenging in their own way but in good condition and we would be happy to play both North and South again. All in all a great holiday and thank you and your team for arranging the trip for us.

Usual excellent service from Golf Escapes in arranging our trip to Belek. Golf courses at Sueno and Cullinan were excellent. We have been to Belek for over 10 years at the the end of May / early June but the weather this year was exceptionally hot touching 40c! However we don't hold GE responsible for this!!

〝We can't speak highly enough〞

Just returned from two really enjoyable weeks in Islantilla. Though the hotel has been taken over by Hilton, the staff are all retained and nothing is too much trouble. Can't fault the facilities, the food, the clubhouse, and the three courses are a joy, (extra balls for hole 2 on the blue course). The whole holiday went so smoothly and we can't speak highly enough of the friendly help and excellent communications from Golf Escapes with all aspects of the holiday. Wouldn't bother to book with anyone else.
