In total contrast to the Real Club de Las Palmas, El Cortijo golf course is a beast! You will realise this not only when you see the huge image of a bull on the road signalling the course's entrance, but also after you've putted on the greens. These are among the most frightening greens we've seen! Quick and undulating beyond belief - even the professionals commented on this during the 2003 Spanish Open here, won by Sergio Garcia. In addition to the greens, you will have the Atlantic breeze, six lakes, several hundred palm trees and the usual big bunkers to contend with. Not the prettiest course you will play, but one of the most challenging! This is a must play on your next golf holiday to Gran Canaria.
